In line with its commitment to environmental sustainability and natural resource preservation, this golf course on the French Riviera has implemented a new irrigation system. This installation will enable the golf course to achieve over 35% water savings.
A rejuvenating transformation for this French Riviera 18-hole course!
Golf de la Grande Bastide, part of the Resonance Collection, located in Châteauneuf-Grasse on the French Riviera, has embarked on a major wave of enhancements and innovations to breathe new life into its course. The renovations began last October and were completed at the end of May.
The official opening of the course will take place on Saturday, 10th June, just before the Resonance Golf Tour event. To celebrate, a special “Hole-in-One” competition will be held on the brand-new par 3 (hole No. 16), offering a chance to win a giant monochrome Hubert Privé Tee!

New Irrigation system
Remodeling: Lake, Fairways, Bunkers, Greens
This new course underwent significant remodeling during the winter period. No detail was overlooked, as several holes were redesigned with new features for the lake, fairways, and bunkers to enhance the overall playing experience!
Opening of 7 new Tee Boxes
Golf de la Grande Bastide now offers a total of 7 new tee platforms throughout the course. This represents a significant change for 4 holes on the course. For example, the previous hole 17 has now become the tee for hole No. 1!
Regeneration of the Green Carpet
During these renovations, the golf course took the opportunity to regenerate and overseed the areas undergoing work, as well as the fairways, with 2.5 tons of premium seeds. This action has been taken to provide you with a lush green carpet and better contact between your club and the ball.
In addition to these improvements, Golf de la Grande Bastide will soon introduce brand-new furnishings, including benches, waste bins, ball washers, and more!
Adjacent to the new starter cabin, you will discover a new digital welcome kiosk near the new hole No. 1. This is where you can gather before each game. The kiosk will display tee times, news, and upcoming events and activities offered by the golf course.
Upcoming Developments
- The Clubhouse will undergo a complete renovation, with work commencing in the autumn and concluding in the first half of 2024.
- A promising project for the new golf practice area is being studied to complement the existing training zones.
- The former hole No. 16 will gradually transform into an extensive training area, featuring a putting green, approach zones, and sand and grass bunkers.
- In autumn 2023, 3 hectares of perfume plant cultivation will be integrated into the course to stimulate your senses!
