With nearly forty years of experience in golf, leisure and hospitality, Colin Mayes is a highly respected figure in the industry. He served as CEO of Burhill Group Limited (BGL), one of Europe’s leading multi-course operators, managing 22 courses across 10 venues in the United Kingdom. Under his leadership, BGL achieved record results and diversified its business with the creation of Adventure Leisure, which grew to 19 venues by the end of 2023.
Currently a board member of both the UK Golf Federation and the European Golf Association (EGA), Colin brings a wealth of expertise in multi-site management, customer experience and strategic growth development.
