Mucem (Mediterranean and European civilisation museum) focuses on Mediterranean architecture and heritage. Come visit this cultural city looking out to the open sea. Several self-guided tours are available to satisfy everyone. You might feel like strolling from J4 to Fort Saint-Jean, passing through the Jardin des Migrations, and of course stopping at the multimedia library and enjoying breathtaking views from the three viewpoints.

We recommend taking in the views from the threshing floor as you look out at the building designed by Rudy Ricciotti. You will be star-struck!

A stay in Marseille is not complete without exploring the seaside and famous rocky inlets of Marseille and Cassis. We are torn between which one to recommend more! The Cassis rocky inlets can be reached from the Port-Miou peninsula and it is an energetic hike to reach the Port-Pin and En-Vau rocky inlets. For those who wish, you can go a bit further along the steep coastal inclines at Oule and Devenson. Enjoy this exotic setting!
